OA Fine Art Rive Droite is pleased to present "Echoes of Silence", an exhibition bringing together Jin Goo Yu and Roman Feral for the first time.

Although their practices differ in their materials and approaches, the two artists are interested in what remains just beyond perception. Their works invite the viewer to observe attentively, letting light and matter gradually reveal their presence. It is in this silent contemplation that the exhibition finds its meeting point.

Jin Goo Yu works with mother-of-pearl, exploiting its changing reflections to create images that transform according to the viewer's movements. Never fixed, his compositions oscillate between abstraction and landscape; their surfaces evoke water, the sky, or distant horizons, without ever limiting themselves to a precise representation.

Roman Feral adopts an artistic gesture on the opposite side. His butterflies are molded at the moment of their last flight, preserving a moment that would otherwise have disappeared. The permanence of the work does not diminish their fragility; on the contrary, it amplifies the awareness of what has already been lost.

Presented together, the works establish a subtle and measured dialogue. The iridescence of Yu's panels responds to the silent presence of Feral's sculptures, inviting visitors to move through the exhibition slowly and to perceive how each work transforms the gaze directed toward the next. Silence is never presented as an absence, but as a space where attention becomes possible.

Rather than proposing an imposed theme, "Echoes of Silence" creates a space where two singular practices meet momentarily. Their dialogue is not based on resemblance, but on a common rhythm: a shared sensitivity to light, time, and the elusive nature of perception in nature.
