Christian Eurgal is part of the very small circle of painters awarded by the French Republic. On July 17, 2015, the Ministry of Culture and Communication awarded Christian Eurgal the distinction of Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, in recognition of his work and his involvement in the promotion of art.
