Bronze Sculpture for Sale
"We aren't serious when we are 17" said Rimbaud, David Uzochukwu was an exception as at the same age he did the last campaign for Nike. Right from the age of 10, this young prodigy began exploring photography. Austro-Nigerian, the wandering artist spent time between Luxembourg and Brussels, two multicultural crossroads, which the artist included in his universe.
His familiarity with internet gives a sharp look on the society of today. Through this means, the artist is able to explore and inspire various artists. His Instagram account is like a true opus. The photographer tries to sound out the human being through colors and designs. From self-portraits to model photography, the human being lets go off all his superficial layers, and unveils his universal emotions. The photo seems to freeze torments of the subject, right at its climax, delightful torments through minimalist and atmospheric treatment. The projecting look of his models is intoxicating and dizzying. The dreamlike look shouts out, captures and has a numbing effect. All his photos are poetic, this is mixed with lyricism and darkness. The darkness is shaded with high-level emotional charge. The artist confirms this in an interview with the brand Lomography "I think a good portrait needs to fascinate the spectator, attract his interest and encourage him to question the history of the subject. Robert Frank said something which is in keeping with this idea: when people look at my photos, I want them to feel the same thing they feel while reading verses of a poem".
His collaborations have increased, from vogue Italia to Nike, the young photographer has asserted his position as the leader of virtuosity.
