Moshi Moshi

Founded by visual artist Philippe K and his wife Caroline Descamps, the Belgian art studio Moshi Moshi is impossible to classify.

Over time, the studio's style has evolved towards a more spontaneous, acidulous and immediate creation, based on clean, stylized lines, enlarged printing screens, bold colors applied in flat tints, and characters borrowed from popular imagery or comic strips.

"My work is like a snapshot taken at random, a moment of intense movement that freezes and then all that agitation becomes more legible. 

It's a daily challenge to find one's own style without becoming a prisoner of it, to endure without going round in circles, to constantly develop one's art without intellectualizing the creative process, which would then lose its spontaneity, its strength."
