Robert de Sutter

Robert de Sutter was born in 1957 in Forest, in a family of artists, since his father Clement Sutter, is a jewelry designer, and his grandfather, Ernest De Sutter, was a painter.

This is how, he met many artists that stimulated his creativity throughout his childhood. He discovered and tried multiple fields before joining the School of Arts and Jobs of Brussels. Thereafter, he refined his training besides great artists such as Rick Poot, Jef Vanturenhout, Pierre Caille, Olivier Leloux.

After marrying Chantal de Block in 1977, the couple opened a lost wax art foundry, where they have worked with many artists and created their own works as well.

Their work have a sleek and refined style. The bronze sculptures stretch and settle in supports of rare elegance where lines and curves figure prominently.
