Carla De Boeck is a blegian artist, born in 1962, she lives and works in Herent, Belgium.
Carla de Boeck graduated from the University of Haarlem in Holland with a painting degree in 2001, she followed a formation in ceramics, sculpture and photography as well. She gets inspired by her surroundings, a library, a park, a simple reading corner, a vacation etc and she treats every subject with great realism.
Her paintings reflect the eternal joy of today's society. Carla De Boeck offers a clear cut perception of our society. Her paintings reflect a certain freshness and joy and some sort of melancholy at the same.This effect is created by a game of colors and by the presence and/or absence of certain characters.
Her work is regularly exposed since 2009 in Belgium and France.
