Colorful Geometric Painters

Painters

Whether paintings, Polaroid photographs or installations, all of her works have a theme of space, architecture and emptiness.

Carolina Martinez looks for connections between invisible urban spaces, architecture and scenes of everyday life that often go unnoticed. In her installations, she always tries to dislocate something classical in architecture. By challenging conventional notions of architecture, she disrupts the viewer's perception of space with a set of works that are both material and poetic.

Through Polaroid photographs, Carolina Martinez searches for urban voids and places usually overlooked in the contemporary routine. The urban man of today lives in the emergency and often also in the virtual world. The idea of her Polaroids is to show the textures and poetry of ordinary scenes in big cities. And thus, to return to the city, the real space, which is palpable and modulable.

His paintings are consistently presented as an integrated body of work establishing associations between invisible urban spaces, architecture and contemporary routine through the search for aspects and perspectives.
