Biography

Artist from Santa Catarina (1973), born among paints and brushes from his mother's painting classes. Graduated in Industrial Design / Product Design from PUC-PR (1990-1994), Painting from the Paraná School of Music and Fine Arts (1991-1994) and postgraduate degree in Marketing Management from INPG-SC

(1997-1999). He worked in large textile companies developing products and fashion collections, which in a way added structural elements to his work.

He began his career with painting, identifying great masters such as Matisse, Picasso and Di Cavalcanti, working with color, the feminine and the simplification of lines. The textile is incorporated little by little, under the strong influence of his childhood memories and references, with all the manual practices learned from women in his life, working on affection and relationships.

He has more than 60 solo and group exhibitions in Brazil and abroad. He was part of several artistic collectives, presided over the Sectoral Chamber of Visual Arts / Municipal Council of Culture, participating in several curatorships. Represented Santa Catarina in the Children's Human Rights Handbook Project with exhibitions in Hungary and the Netherlands. His works are present in publications and collections inside and outside the country.
