Edmar Fernandes

Presentation

Edmar de Moraes Fernandes was born in Chã de Alegria (PE), in 1982. He started painting at the age of 10. Self-taught, he then studied at the Escola de Arte do Recife (2002). He studied drawing with the visual artists Eugênio Paxelly (1999) and Ricardo Gonçalves (2000). He has participated in dozens of collective and individual exhibitions, such as Salão de Artes Plásticas, at the Museu do Estado de Pernambuco (1998), Fórum Ministro Arthur Marinho (2001) and Imaginário Brasileiro (2008), all in Recife. His works are spread across countries such as Italy, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland.
