MARIA GERGOVA -

Born on February 19, 1951 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Academy of Arts - sculpture, 1970-1975. From 1975 until now he has been working as a freelance artist. Participation in General Art Exhibitions in Bulgaria, organized by the Union of Bulgarian Artists and in the Exhibitions of Bulgarian Art in France, Greece, USSR. Czechoslovakia, India, Spain, Syria. Elected as a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists in 1982.

Her works made of bronze are owned by the NHG in Sofia, the SGHG: the Dante Museum in Ravenna, as well as in private collections in Madrid. Paris, Belgium, Netherlands. Czechoslovakia, Japan.

She made many monumental bronze or marble statues, placed in Bulgarian parks or against the background of architectural landmarks
