Elisaveta Anglelova

Elisaveta Angelova was born in 1986 in Bulgaria. She completed her secondary education at' St. Cyril and Methodius', Burgas specialising it the arts. In 2010 she got her Bachelor's degree in 'Icon painting' in Plovdiv and in 2017 her Masters degree in 'Fine Art Tutoring' from the University of Shumen. So far she has had 9 solo exhibitions, participated in over 60 group exhibitions and won several prestigious awards. Eli loves to stare at the human soul and recognize its longings, to look at the world through the eyes of a child - with a look clean, clear and naive. Children are the main character in her paintings - perhaps because she is a mother of two, or because children embody her ideas most convincingly. Provoked by the reality around us, where most is beautiful and shiny, but often hollow and false, she creates art that reflects the world and the problems in it, that also provides a resolve.
