Presentation

Robert Berlin, born in Toronto where he lives actually, uses his trips as a source of inspiration to create his artistic work. Even the photograph is his actual artistic method, having a background as a painter makes that in works of the artist I still think and feel like a painter, but I use a digital brush and a photographic canvas.

It is in this way how R. Berlin explores the synergy of captured movement, the deconstruction of the colour, obscure and the shadowed form. With an imaginary creation that is totally intuitive, he responds to the surroundings emotionally, searching the essence of the image and creating some kind of ambiguity in his pieces, pieces that are more than photograph like if they would have a place between two worlds.
