Biography

Born in Montreal in 1977, Isabelle Filion was interested in creation from an early age. During her bachelor's degree in visual and media arts at the University of Quebec in Montreal, she explored and refined multiple techniques that allowed her to enrich her creations.

His sculptural and pictorial research, in addition to his interests in figuration and abstraction, have led the artist to create fascinating and captivating works. In addition, this amalgam of knowledge is transposed in his works and demonstrates a remarkable coherence.

The live model is Isabelle Filion's favorite subject, an interest that dates back to her childhood. Already, very young, she carried out portraits of celebrities and members of her entourage, paying particular attention to details. Even today, the results bear witness to the artist's talent.

The artist's works offer the viewer a universe revisiting the timeless theme of the portrait through a contemporary and personal signature. For many years, Isabelle Filion has exhibited and presented her works in various galleries and cultural centers.

In addition to her creative process, Isabelle Filion also completed a bachelor's degree in plastic arts education at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She has been teaching for fifteen years, transmitting her knowledge and her passion.
