Atis Saez

Industrial designer from the Metropolitan Technological University, Atis Sáez lives in Santiago de Chile and has been working in goldsmithing for 16 years. She has a certification of craftsmanship of excellence issued by the National Council of Cultures, Arts and Heritage Chilean in 2016 and obtained the seal of craftsmanship excellence in 2019. She has exhibited her work in Chile and in Europe, presenting his works in leading cultural venues such as London Craft Week (2020) and the Florence Biennale (2021). Atis gives private lessons through Matriceras , a space dedicated to the experimentation and diffusion of jewelry where she teaches from the basic notions of jewelry to advanced techniques, without forgetting design and creativity.

Atis Sáez has been developing his creative work from an early age. Among the various metalworking techniques, Atis chooses the technique of weaving, in particular copper, for the realization of his pieces which voluntarily bear the imprint of traditional techniques of his country.
