Colomba Pino

Colomba Pino is a Chilean artist whose practice is built around a dialogue between traditional techniques—engraving, ceramics, and embroidery—and a sensitive observation of everyday life. Her work explores how architecture, objects, and domestic gestures become triggers for memory and nostalgia.

At the heart of his approach lies a constantly evolving "photographic archive," comprised of spatial fragments, textures, and atmospheres. These images constitute a repertoire that nourishes his research. The archive becomes a testing ground, a space where questions are reformulated.

Colomba Pino's work explores the tension between the recent and the old, between what persists and what transforms in our living spaces.
