Guoquan Zeng

Zeng Guoquan, member of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Association, member of the Fujian Artists Association, member of the Fujian Oil Painting Society, director of the Fujian Oil Painting Industry Association, director of the Xiamen Oil Painting Industry Association, vice-president of the Quanzhou Oil Painting Art Association, executive director of the Xiamen Haicang Art Industry Association. Born on Fushan Island, Quanzhou in 1976. Passionate about painting since childhood, he studied oil painting with Mr. Li Yingzhe, a Korean painter in 1992. 

Later, he studied with Zhang Liping, the dean of Xiamen University of the Arts. Using oil paint as a medium to express the charm of Chinese painting has always been his main creative idea. The complementary performances between the two fully demonstrate the limits that traditional ink and rice paper cannot express. 

The texture of oil painting and the artistic conception of Chinese painting are different from tradition, but not far from it. There are subtle and wonderful embellishments in the drips and splashes, and the exploration of traditional culture is contained in the beautiful image. His unbridled, unrestrained and unique style of painting is favored by many collectors. Many excellent works have been collected by national and foreign institutions and celebrities. 

Founded the Zeng Guoquan art studio in 1997.

In 2000, signed a contract with "Korea Jean Gallery".

In 2005, the work "Regarder au loin" was selected for the inter-strait art exchange exhibition.

In 2007, "The Distance" was selected for the "Xiamen Art Exhibition of the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army". 

In 2008, "Dream of Water Town" was selected as a prize for excellence at the 12th East Ocean Wave Original Oil Painting Exhibition in Fujian province. 

In 2009, "Dream of Water Town 2" took part in the Haicang Culture and Art Festival.

In 2013, the work "Imagery Landscape" participated in the 5th Asian Art Fair, which received wide industry attention and the work was collected. 

In 2014, participated in the 2nd Fujian Provincial Staff Skills Oil Painting Competition and won second prize. 

In 2015, the work "Xixi Spring Breeze" participated in Xiamen Art Fair. 

In 2016, the work "At the Water's Edge" was selected in the Chinese Dream. Labor Art Exhibition In 2016, the work "Lighting on Xiamen Port" was selected for the Xiamen Art Exhibition to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party 

In 2017, the work "Blooming Like Xiamen Flowers" was selected for the selection exhibition of the second "Bamin Danqing Biennale" in Fujian Province In 2017, he participated in the Shanghai Art Fair, and his work "Imagery Mountains and Rivers" was collected by Italian friends. 

In 2018, he participated in the Taipei New Art Fair, and his work "Lotus Rhyme" was collected by Taiwanese friends. In 2018, the work "Wandering in the Ancient Forest" was selected for Fujian Province's "Puyang Collection" exhibition of oil paintings on new literature and art. 

In 2019, the work "Sheng Ruxia Flower 2" was selected in "Xiamen Art Exhibition on the Occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" In 2019, the work "Spring Returns to the Snow Land" won the Award of Excellence at the Fujian New Literature and Art Group Oil Painting Exhibition 

In 2021, his work "Blooming Like Summer Flowers 2" was shortlisted for the 1st "Ni Yunlin" national art exhibition. 

In 2022, his work "Flying Prayer Flags" was shortlisted for the 5th "Pilgrimage to Dunhuang" national art exhibition. In 2022, the work "On the Water Side" was selected as the cover and music promotion poster for the album of modern classical folk songs "Here". In 2022, "Lujiang Love" was selected for the "Beautiful Bay Area" national art exhibition. The works have been exhibited many times, and some have been collected by famous entrepreneurs, individuals and groups in France, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and elsewhere.
