Xu WeiHua was born in Tianjin in China. He lives and works in Beijing.

Xu WeiHua obtained a diploma in Artistic expression (DNSEP) with honors, in the art Section at Ecole supérieure d'art et de design in Reims (post-graduation), and a national visual arts diploma (DNAP) with honors from the jury, the art section at Ecole Supérieure d'art et de Design in Reims.

His artistic style is characterized by figurative painting bordering the real and imaginary. He brings in a new critical and ironic vision on human actions.
