Yang Wang is a Chinese photographer, also emeritus dancer, graduated from the Institute of the People's Liberation Army of China. After a career on the Chinese and then international scene as a ballet dancer, he joined the world of photography in 2006 by reporting on the French tour of “Living Dance" that he produced.
Since 2011 he has devoted himself mainly to fashion and nude photography, working with the biggest magazines like GQ or Vogue, allowing him to develop the main subject of his artistic reflection: his relationship to the body. It is by transposing this aesthetic quest for dance to photography that he now fully exploits the possibilities of this subject which has fascinated artists since antiquity.
