Zhou Hongbin is a Chinese photographer born in 1978 in Zhangzhou, Fujian.
After her artistic studies at the University of Xianmen, she gets her Master’s in Digital Media from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2005 and begins her photographic practice.
She is interested in the evolution of the younger Chinese generation and in the way this generation sees itself in a society that is developing more and more quickly. In her different series, ""Aquarium"", but also ""Amphitheater"" she uses public spaces (parks, swimming pools, parking garages) as a background symbolizing an imagined inner space, welcoming the individuality of each and allowing them to escape from the world.
