Presentation

Virginia (Luna Rosa) Hernandez is a Colombian artist born in 1967.

She discovered contemporary art in Paris in 2002 and discovered through her studies and her artistic researches that it was abstract expressionism that suited her best to express her emotions.

Fascinated by two major artists, Kasimir Malevitch, developer of the Suprematism movement and Nicolas de Stael, master of space, matter and color, she creates squares with a knife trying to express this way, the sensation of the passage of time.

After living in Provence for some time, she started to promote in 2008 Latin-America artists through an non-profit organization called COLOMBIArtistica. She then opened a gallery in Belgium to develop more international projects during her journey through the US.
