Roldán Lauzán is a young artist who made his name on the stage of Cuban Contemporary Art about five years ago, after finishing his studies at the Eduardo Abela Academy of Fine Arts. He has participated in collective exhibitions such as Pintura Fresca II, at Galería Habana, Sabor Metalico, at Galería Villa Manuela, Pipol at Galería Artis718, among many others; all of them in Havana.
His work has been exhibited at International fairs like ART Karlsruhe in Germany, Art Bodensee in Austria and Scope Art Fair in the United States. He has also collaborated with more than 35 publications for Cuban and foreign publishers.
In his works, his main interest is to invite the viewer to consider and contemplate the idea of the duality of the being, merging into a single character the two extremes that we all have inside.
