Biography
"Parisian painter, Christophe FITY has been painting for many years. After studying decorative arts and trompe l'oeil painting, he begins to exhibit in Paris and in the provinces. For his work, he uses a mixed technique of drawing , acrylic paint and oil which allowed him a varied pictorial research. His participation in numerous exhibitions (Salon d'Automne, Salon des Indépendants, Salon Violet) allowed him to receive the prize of the city of Paris. Several galleries Parisiennes have successfully presented him, including Galerie Modus in Place des Vosges. The inspirational themes of his painting are based on moments of contemporary life that express his sensitivity to the world. My painting turns to the apprehension of space, the opposition between emptiness and fullness, the quest for an ever purer, ceaselessly renewed light. I do not paint what is (trees, mountains, rivers ...) but what which is between (the void). t is not the same everywhere: the void between the clouds is not the void between the sky and the water, nor the void between the leaves of a tree or that between two mountains. These voids present between them extraordinary variations of colors and lights. They are sources of emotions, perceptions, different sensations. It is a question of rendering the beauty of nature, the purity of its light, its sparkle, its radiance. I seek to exalt the vital breaths, the internal energy of the world, the hidden eternity of things. A single purpose governs my painting: to force the painting to be free. "
