Yves Chaudouët

Yves Chaudouët graduated from the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts (ENSBA) in Paris in 1985. He lives and works in Bazas (Gironde). After devoting himself initially to painting and the restoration of Romanesque frescoes, he spent time abroad, notably in New York in 1987-1988, Vienna in 1991-2001, and then at the Villa Arson in Nice in 2002-2003, developing a body of work combining painting, installation, text and staging.
