Marie-Jeanne Hoffner's work operates displacements (geometry, flatness, material, transparency, etc.) to question our relationship to place, our experience of it and our way of apprehending it. “How to move a space, or the memory of this space? It's a story of returning to the origin, a solipsism: what I experience determines my own perception of reality.
