Biography

Aude Vernuccio is a self-taught French artist and journalist based in Paris. Trained in painting since childhood in a Norman workshop in Trouville-sur-mer, she draws her inspiration from current events, her environment and her travels, particularly in Latin America. Brazil and Colombia have also re-triggered his desire to paint, during the pandemic.

Through his works, the artist offers a journey, a reflection on the mechanisms of the psyche and the feeling of confinement in the post-pandemic collection "Atravesar" (to cross in Spanish), like a stained glass window, a window on its memories; while she focuses on the theme of the feminine and more broadly on the image of women in society, in the “Rêveries" and “Babelles" collections. The artist works particularly in abstraction and favors movement and pure color. Aude Vernuccio has already exhibited in Paris and Colombia.
