Biography
From journalism, I moved on to painting. A change of direction. From paper to canvas or other supports like slate or wood. In my works, I like to incorporate materials: sand, ash, earth... to give more depth, more substance.
Painting creates a pictorial language that anchors itself in space. The difficulty of detecting the painted motif offers an exaggerated depth. Detecting motifs that are not always visible. This accumulation of materials, layers, and temporal strata inspires me. Art is a hand-to-hand combat.
