Salvy de Saunhac

Salvy de Saunhac is a French visual artist and designer born in Albi in 1969. His artistic approach focuses on the diversion of a purely decorative style "Art-toy" to transmit his perception of the world. Indeed, the artist puts particular attention to the function of the piece of art: He thus pursues a research on talismanism and fetishism, in a contemporary style. On the other hand, the artist does not deny the legacy of the "toys" and emotions associated to childhood of which it can be charged. The artist creates an atypical universe, a fantastic bestiary full of pigs or ladybugs, which challenge the observer. The animal is a way to make man meditate about, what he is, his way of life, in an artistic proposition in which emotion reigns. The artist exhibits his work regularly throughout France.
