Cédric Marachian

Cédric Marachian is a painter, born in 1973. He began in the world of comics but wasn't fulfilled. Self-taught, he began painting and signed his works under the pseudonym Hamlet1888 and then revealed his identity in 2012. An artistic project called « Toits et moi » made him travel around France and Europe, a true initiation.

Marachian's artistic universe has put down roots in expressionism, with a unique personal language. The contrasts are striking and he stands out with his original framework. Extremely sensitive and poetic, sometimes nostalgic, Cédric Marachian's work is able to capture the eye.

The artist is famous in Europe: He has exhibited in London, Milan, Paris and Stuttgart but has also participated in collaborations pertaining to music, theater or even illustration.
