Biography
Born in Normandy, I have lived and worked in Cherbourg since 1996. After five years in applied arts schools, graduating in graphic design and visual communication, I flew to Polynesia for a two-year trip rich in colors, a source of inspiration infinite for my future creations.
Sensitive to the wild and grandiose beauty of the Cotentin, my painting is naturally impregnated with my environment, mixing the tropical idleness of the Polynesian lagoons with the windswept Normandy beaches, bathed in an often very contrasting light.
With graphics sometimes close to abstraction, the series, “Les dames de la côte" is a variation on the same theme of seaside landscapes, portraits of lunar and contemplative women with generous and sensual shapes. Timeless ladies tell us secret stories and lead us into the dreamy expanses of a poetic imagination.
Oil pastel, acrylic, gouache, charcoal, collage, being able to endlessly develop all kinds of pictorial experiences by trying to make an emotion concrete without a deep technique of reality.
