The practice of the duo
Our individual practices both have the body as a matrix.
The diptych allows a new reading of this common subject while preserving our singularities which dialogue and complement each other.
Through the use of strong symbols, Manon reveals the sacred character of the body and the spirit. Nicolas, on the other hand, shapes like a sculptor, and gives life to colossi with a raw and expressive force. In the diptychs, they become the material with which Manon composes: the powerful and frontal bodies escape their tight compositions and with a deep breath, open up to the invisible.
The two very distinct approaches with a strong dualism present a set with three narratives: hers, mine and ours.
