Born in the Landes region of France, Luc Mora initially pursued a scientific path that led him to a career as a nuclear engineer. For over twenty years, he worked in a world where precision, rigor, and technical mastery were essential. At 55, he made a decisive change: he left engineering to devote himself fully to painting, revealing a long-suppressed passion. A self-taught artist, he first explored watercolor and Impressionism before moving towards a freer, more intuitive, and emotional form of expression.

His work is structured around three pillars: Expressionism, Colour, and Emotion. Colour is at the heart of his approach, driving his gesture and conveying his pictorial language.
