Born in 1967 in Puy en Velay, Anne Zamo grew up in Nîmes, then embarked on a career as a teacher. is one of the triggering factors of her orientation towards the profession of painter. In 2012 she opened her studio in Céret (Occitanie) and embarked on an artistic career, very strongly marked by the animal, surrealism and natures. Striving to transcribe the poetry and the magic of the world around us, she goes on exhibitions: General Council Prize in 2012, Winner of Talent Artist Géant des Beaux Arts, Finalist at the DSWF (David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ) in 2014, Cat Festival prize in Lloret De Mar, exhibition at Llewellyn Alexander Gallery in London, mention of the Jury at the Salon des Artistes Français in 2020...She supports the ASPAS (Association for the Protection of Wild Animals), The Haven association for the protection of wild cats in Scotland and is a member of ADAGP and the Maison des Artistes.
