After 4 years spent at the ECV (School of Visual Communication), Pols decided to leave and set up on his own to enjoy greater freedom. Thus, he was able to free himself and devote more time to his own productions. His work, halfway between a modern hyperrealism and a contemporary fantasy seduces more and more people and attracts the eye of the exhibition galleries. Its goal ? Deteriorate and reshape pop-culture icons known to all at will to change our vision of reality. His productions are crammed with small details which oblige the spectator to see the painting in two stages (two stories): once from afar, then a second time up close, the "nose on the painting".
