The solitary apprenticeship of drawing allowed me to open myself to all the avenues that presented themselves to me. I was able to test a multitude of techniques, styles and materials. My creativity was largely influenced by the world of graffiti and comics. More precisely, my work is directed towards a figurative art, where realism is illustrated by the multitude of details, the delicacy of the lines. Mixing three styles in particular: realism, comics and graffiti, I start with a sketch from a photograph or my own observations, I observe my subject from different angles of view. Then my inspiration consists in playing with these different techniques to give movement, to fuel my experiments and my work. So I can free myself from the model and imagine other parts ... My research can be summed up in a form of contemporary expressionism from multiple sources: encounters that overwhelm me emotionally and that I translate into nervous gestures and graphics. . A loss of spatiotemporal landmarks sometimes seems to get rid of drawing and painting, disrupting our own codes of reading. This is why I frame, I unframed, in order to establish new benchmarks.
