Géraldine Pontier

Géraldine Pontier creates hammered sculptures with a delicate patina. The artist's characters are "guardians of a fragile and precious humanity".

"I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, but I've only recently started selling my sculptures. I work with composite materials, but can have them duplicated in bronze.

In form, I seek to express the path of my life. I render static the emotions that animate us. I try to find serenity and elegance in the balance of my compositions.

I work on metal pedestals, then elaborate my structure with a material from the composition (paperclay/resin)."
