Description
Géraldine Pontier's sculptures are true works of art, captivating with their elegance and sophistication. Each of her creations reveals a mastery of materials. His slender sculptures seem to defy gravity, with fluid lines and shapes that evoke both purity and strength. The precision of his details and the finesse of his finishes bear witness to his concern for perfectionism. Through her sculptures, Géraldine Pontier transports us into a world where beauty and emotion meet in harmonious union.
Presentation
Géraldine Pontier creates hammered sculptures with a delicate patina. The artist's characters are "guardians of a fragile and precious humanity".
"I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, but I've only recently started selling my sculptures. I work with composite materials, but can have them duplicated in bronze.
In form, I seek to express the path of my life. I render static the emotions that animate us. I try to find serenity and elegance in the balance of my compositions.
I work on metal pedestals, then elaborate my structure with a material from the composition (paperclay/resin)."
