Biography

Laurence Tellier is a sculptor and ceramist. She was born in 1958 in Aix les Bains, in Savoie. After studying at the Beaux Arts in Annecy and Toulouse from 1975 to 1980, she also became a visual artist, photographer and specialized in digital technologies.

Graphic designer since 1988, she has provided professional training in digital graphic arts from the beginnings of this technology. In 1990, she created and managed a Visual Communication and graphic design start-up in Toulouse.

She works on art creations, sculptures modeled in ceramic and presented in the form of paintings.

His “ Fashion Shows " in low relief are made of earthenware or porcelain, double fired with ceramic enamelling. With a Raku cooking and smoking technique, the pieces are reprocessed Kintsugi , then glued onto 3D frame canvases. This gives the perception of a painting in volume and a sensation of movement, an exit from the plane of the canvas.
