Biography

"Body and nature are for me places of universality and eternity. Most of my images are born from a physical sensation. The scenes that I create are landscapes or interior climates, my intimate panorama in a way. If black stone is very present in my work, it is because it sculpts the lights wonderfully and contributes greatly to the feeling of timelessness that I am looking for."

Clémence's works are mirages, mysterious journeys, invitations to discover the possibilities to construct one's own representation. The artist defines herself as a supporter of figurative art and demonstrates a particular interest in narrative. She works on the dramatic tension that she lets slide from the scene to the detail allowing the anecdotal to become meaningful.
