Theo Haggai

Born in Paris, Theo Haggaï grew up in the south of France. Inspired by fashion photography and the dazzling art scene in 1980s New York, Haggai chose to begin his own artistic journey. Finding the city to be an endless source of creative inspiration, anything from outdoor walls to the backs of receipts became his canvas with which to explore his artistry. Theo's drawings and paintings are simple in composition yet deliver an intense emotional resonance. Exploring urban territories through street art, paintings, drawings or performances, he shares his faith in humankind as well as communicating his fears. Théo's art is based on a universal human experience that is delivered to the viewer in an honest and simple expression form.
