Biography

Denis Monfleur devotes himself to the direct carving of stone, particularly granite, a demanding technique that he fully adopted after 1986. Centered on the human figure in a universal dimension, his work explores hard materials (basalt, lava, diorite) and varied techniques, including polychromy, enameling and monumental sculpture.
