Biography
Born in 1954 in Achnak, Armenia, he pursued higher education in sculpture before enrolling in a film and television school. With degrees in both sculpture and film and television, he began a career as a director while simultaneously working as a writer. Martun has worked at the Yerevan Television Film Studio; in the main production of dramatic programs in Yerevan; at the Hayfilm and Hayk film studios; and at the National Film Center of the Republic of Armenia.
Now engaged in sculpture, Martun mainly sculpts animals, revealing their beauty and unique characteristics.
