Biography

Caroline FOMBARON, professional painter and former student of the École du Louvre, attended the Beaux-Arts in Toulon, as well as artists' studios in the south of France (E. Baboulène, J. Ceruti, P. Mayer, M. Jouenne), before exhibiting internationally: (Cairo, Sydney, Nouméa, Nouakchott, Rabat, London, Belfry of Bruges in Belgium, Constantine Palace in St Petersburg in 2015, Rospigliozzi Palace in Rome in 2023, etc.).

Her works feature in numerous private collections in France and abroad (England, Australia, Morocco, Mauritania, New Caledonia). In 2011, she received the Arts-Sciences and Letters medal in Paris, as well as numerous other medals and distinctions, including

– Bronze Medal from the city of Lyon in 2017,

– Diploma of Honour at the 2018 Aquitaine Arts Fair in Bordeaux-Blanquefort
– Prize of Excellence at the 33rd Salon d'Arts Plastiques in La Rochelle in 2019 .Founder of the association 'Les Chevalets d'Argence' created in 2000, she devotes herself to teaching classes in her studio in Champniers in Charente, while organising courses throughout France and abroad.
