Biography
Represented by the gallery since 2004, Karin Boinet is an artist in constant evolution.
A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, this printmaking specialist paints obsessively every day.
Rich in color and texture, her works are veritable narratives.
Painting, India ink, collage, walnut stain... She transcribes her emotions, regularly creating thought-provoking series.
With her, we enter the heart of the city and sometimes, we soar above it. The urban environment is a recurring theme for the artist. Her abstract work is also remarkably rich, exploring the depths of color through the manipulation of pigment.
Karin Boinet also expresses herself as a photographer in series where she celebrates major cities, their architecture, and natural landscapes. Since 2018, the artist has been exploring the possibilities offered by drawing again, notably in a series of spontaneous sketches made in Paris and Cap-Ferret.
