Biography
I'm self-taught. When I was younger, I loved to draw and paint on various surfaces: glass, wood, fabric, paper... but life took me down a different path. After a difficult period, I felt the need to add color to my life and I started drawing and painting again.
Passionate about portraiture, dry pastels allow me to get closer to a certain reality, a certain truth... I love drawing faces, gazes, capturing expressions, emotions... the human element. Through my travels and the various encounters I've had, it's always emotion that guides and inspires me in my choice of portraits, because a look speaks to me, it's like a call, and I aspire to bring it to life through my painting.
I discovered pastels in September 2016, I became passionate about this discipline and the creation of portraits in dry pastel, I even took advanced courses with Master Pastelists.
