Laurence Sibille

Laurence Sibille was born in 1958 in Dunkirk. She moved to Brittany at the age of nine and developed an interest in art after discovering her grandfather's fashion illustrator drawings in a box. She skipped school and later studied fine arts at the University of Rennes. She collaborated on numerous artistic projects related to theater and poetry, became an art therapist, and led painting workshops.

His work oscillates between abstraction and representation, the abstraction of words, play and sound and the subjective representation of what surrounds and inspires him in Brittany: popular culture and nature.

Laurence lives and works in Trégor, Brittany.
