Biography

French contemporary painter, settled in Corsica for about twenty years. It is there

that she begins her journey as a painter. Her travels and her experience as a photographer are her first research axes and lead her, naturally, to work on the material, its textures and its transformations over time and in light.

A first exhibition, in Bastia: The Gods of Iron and Rust, could fit into a modern orientalism trend, through the choice of layout and colors.

But, very quickly, the island, its light, its contrasts, lead her to a more in-depth analysis of the impact of color on our emotions. She approaches the American abstract expressionists, whose primary intention suits her, and seems to her the essential of what a work of art must express. Her work then takes another turn, another path.

Works like Harmonious Suites are the expression of this shift.

Today, Fractures, Terre di Colore exhibited at Artsper.

Her singularity is also, this work on wood, the softness of the oil, and the richness of her pigments. Medium-sized formats that must fit into our lives.
