Biography
Jean-Louis Corpron lives and works in Billière, near Pau (south of France).
Artistic approach. Impressionism, graphic design, and minimalism are at the heart of his approach, which aims to translate as faithfully as possible the emotion felt towards a subject. He explores the architecture and the plays of shadow and light with geometric precision. His streamlined compositions often show night scenes or serene interiors, like solitary lighthouses, where the human presence remains only suggested.
He received the Jury Prize in 2021 in Moliets-et-Maa (Landes).
