Not easy to write about yourself! Color and black, brightness and depth, transparency and reflections to create an atmosphere. Lots of self-mockery and humor that I can only express when I feel confident ... I love life's surprises, beautiful friendships and shared laughter ... I have been painting for 20 years and since 10 years on metal. I practiced painting and “nudes” at the Beaux Arts workshops in Besançon and sculpture at the Beaux Arts workshops in Lyon as soon as I arrived in this city. Between Besançon and Lyon, I lived in Avignon for 15 years, a region where I started to exhibit. My dream of painting is to express silences, to highlight feelings, atmospheres, to draw interior photographs. I paint on metal and play with the reflections, the effects, the colors of the pigments, the transparencies of the tones, always seeking to associate lightness and depth. The accumulation or transparency of the layers of paint and material combined with the traces of the brush, reveal the metal and reveal a deep energy. The study of the painters Soulage and Zao Wou-Ki fed my research and my need for alternation between black and color.
