Presentation

Artist - Designer, Philippe Siennicka discovered resins ten years ago, while visiting a polyester surfboard manufacturing workshop, it was love at first sight for this material, as the applications and uses were numerous . A long journey of research and testing followed because it was totally self-taught. It was from 2009 that he began to create objects in resin, then in 2010 the first lights. In 2011, he decided to devote himself entirely to the creation of masterful multicolored pieces (up to 2 meters in height). Each creation is unique and signed. It is first imagined on a computer. The part is then cast in a mold. They are created by superimposing layers of resins tinted in the mass, sometimes associated with wood or metal, the colors being transparent, translucent, opaque or fluorescent. It takes between four to eight weeks to make a resin slab. Then it will first be shaped to give it the desired shape and then sanded to eliminate the defects. Finally, the last step, that of hand polishing which will bring out and shine all the colors of the room.
