François Poulat

Born in 1960, François Poulat is a determined and curious artist. Encouraged and supported from a young age by his family, the artist has chosen later in his life to share his work with a wider audience.

François Poulat travels and observes, learns from the people he meets and when he comes back from his travels he shares his experiences by capturing them on the canvas. The artist does a veritable research work every day, he explores new ways of making art, tests materials, refining his palette to give us a work in constant progress.

Quickly recognized by the art world he joins several galleries and is appreciated by collectors. Today, his use of Plexiglas on canvas bring a 3rd dimension, a certain depth and transparency that are very personal and give a special interest to François Poulat's both meticulously produced and spontaneous works.
